Checks library materials in and out at the circulation desk, collects fines through the use of the integrated library system and cash register by cash, credit card or check.

Assists with staff checking materials for damage and removing them from shelves as required.

Shelves library materials accurately and shelf-reads as needed.

Projects a positive and pleasant attitude to the public and cooperates and maintains an effective relationship with other staff members as part of a team.

The wage range for this position starts at $12.10 per hour. This position will primarily work varied hours and openness to come in when called is desired. Flexibility is desired to accommodate the hours the library is open to the public. This position will report to the Library Director.
